Reconciling Congregation

The Reconciling Congregation Committee (RCC) thanks the people of this church who made Reconciling Sunday a success. We especially thank Patti Nelson and Eva Brock for their inspiring testimony on the importance of being a member of a Reconciling Congregation. The RCC is working on a report of the activities of our committee, the Conference Committee on Reconciling and the national Reconciling Network over the past year. We will get it to you in July.

Return Engagement: A Fish Out of Water

If you missed it at the Varsity in February, you have a second chance to see this spirited documentary that explores the seven Bible passages notoriously used to condemn homosexuality and justify marriage discrimination. With the help of a cartoon narrator, animated recollections of Bible passages and witty illustrations, Fish Out of Water makes this polarizing subject accessible and non-threatening. Reception and discussion to follow.
