Yolo Diaper Bank invites you to participate in a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service project collecting and wrapping diapers for Yolo County families in need. You can help by donating diapers and/or counting and wrapping diapers to prepare them for distribution to local families. No experience needed; we will teach you everything you need to know. Families are welcome; diaper wrapping is suitable for ages 8 and up. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. If you’d like to join us or have questions about the event, please email us at yolodiaperbankvolunteer@gmail.com or Lorraine Beaman at 530-219-9651. The event will take place January 15th from 9 AM to Noon at the Woodland United Methodist Church (212 2nd St, Woodland)
Yolo Diaper Bank launched in September 2018 to address diaper need in our community. One in three families struggle to afford enough diapers for their babies. Yolo Diaper Bank works with local agencies to remove diaper need as a barrier to the health and stability of Yolo County families.
