Worship Live Online At 10am Each Sunday

Please note that during the COVID-19 outbreak and shelter-in-place order, Davis United Methodist Church is modifying its weekly worship schedule.

Pastor Brandon Austin, the Music Ministry, and the audio-visual team create an online worship service which is broadcast weekly at 10am on Sundays. See “This Week in Worship” page for details.

You can view the service at 10am or any time during the week, whenever you wish to hear the Word!

One way to access the service is to visit the church’s Facebook page: and look for the video on the homepage. If you don’t see it there, click on the “Videos” link, which should be on the left side of the Facebook page.

We now have a Youtube channel. Click the banner slide on the front page to reach it, or you may click here: Davis UMC – YouTube. If we partner with additional hosts, we’ll post about it here!

If you have difficulty accessing the service, or wish to view the video any other time during the week, please click here for the church’s video archive! That link leads to the Website’s “Sermons and Announcements” page, and you can find that same page using the pull down bar at the top of your screen.

The information below is archival, referencing the church pre-coronavirus worship schedule. This information will be refreshed once the church has returned to in-person worship!

Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 am

Our 8:30 service is smaller and a bit quieter. Children are welcome and childcare is provided, but there is no Sunday School.

Our 11:00 service is the larger service. Most weeks children are invited to go to Sunday school after the children's moment. On Communion Sundays (first Sunday of the month) children stay in worship for the entire service.

Please note that both the 8:30 and 11:00am services include the weekly "children's moment."

Don't worry about what to wear! A few people like to dress up for worship. Some people dress in torn jeans and flip-flops. Most people will be somewhere in-between, and you are welcome to come in whatever you are comfortable in.

We celebrate the sacrament of communion on the first Sunday of each month. All are welcome to receive the sacrament. That means all: you don't need to be a member of Davis United Methodist Church; you don't need to be a member of any church; you don't need to have already been baptized. The United Methodist Church believes that Christ has opened this table fellowship to all people.

Refreshments are available after each service in the Fellowship Hall, giving us time to continue being together in conversation.
