Director of Children’s and Youth Ministry & Worship Arts and Drama Director
Megan serves as the Director of Children’s and Youth Ministry as well as the Worship Arts and Drama Director. She is passionate about fostering spiritual growth through music, drama, and engaging community experiences for children and youth.
Her early years were shaped by a strong foundation in faith and music, having grown up actively involved in church life. Megan’s formative experiences include church camps, mission trips, and volunteer work in underserved neighborhoods. These were experiences that sparked her lifelong commitment to social justice and community service.
Music has always been a central part of her life, and she participated in numerous choirs and church drama programs throughout her youth. She studied Theatre Arts and English Literature at college in Boston, where she also met her husband.
After college, Megan relocated to California, where she worked in both nonprofit administration and IT support before shifting to teaching children’s theater workshops. In 2012, she joined DUMC to lead its children’s choir and drama programs, a role that has since grown into her current position.
Megan lives with her family and a lively collection of pets. Outside of her ministry work, she enjoys theater, traveling, movies, books, and exploring museums and libraries.
